Perros-Guirec
Perros-Guirec is a commune in the Côtes-d'Armor department. It is located 78 km from Saint-Brieuc, 175 km from Rennes, and 524 km from Paris.
A prestigious seaside resort for over a century, Perros-Guirec is situated in an exceptional and protected natural setting, within an unusual landscape where the land and sea are dotted with pink granite rocks whose shapes appear to have been sculpted by the wind.
The town has two emblems: the puffin, a small seabird with a colorful beak, whose largest colony in France is found in the Sept-Îles archipelago, and the hydrangea flower, which is particularly prevalent in the town and in private gardens.
Perros-Guirec derives a significant portion of its income from tourism. During the summer, the town takes on a new dimension, both in terms of activities (sports, cultural, and economic) and population (which increases approximately fivefold). It enjoys a reputation as a family-friendly seaside resort, thanks to its several magnificent fine sandy beaches lined with remarkable villas and its pink granite coastline where impressively shaped boulders can be found.
In addition to the town center, the municipality includes several villages, the two largest being Ploumanac'h and La Clarté.
